What to Expect

Hey there, traveler! If you’re thinking about a fun day out on the water, you wouldn’t want to miss this awesome boat tour Cadaques that comes with a picnic. Picture yourself sailing along the coast, feeling the sea breeze, and soaking in the chilled out vibe of Cadaques; a little fishing town turned artsy hotspot on Spain’s Costa Brava.

This is a chance to explore the wild, rocky edges of Cap de Creus, nibble on some local goodies, and maybe even try a bit of paddle surfing. Whether you’re with a small crew of friends or a bigger bunch, this cadaques day trip has options tailored with two incredible vessels.

This boat tour Cadaques is all about giving you a taste of the sea and the charm of the Cap de Creus peninsula. You’ve got two options to pick from: a small private boat for up to 6 people, or a bigger, more spacious one for up to 10 folks. Both are private, so it’s just you and your group, no strangers crashing your party! The smaller boat feels cozy, perfect for a tight-knit gang, while the bigger one gives you room to stretch out and relax.

The trip lasts about half a day, plenty of time to sail around, stop for a swim, and enjoy a picnic with local flavors. If you’re into trying something fun, they’ve got Cadaques paddle surf gear on board, so you can paddle around the calm waters near the shore.

Want to take it easy instead? Just kick back with your picnic, sip on something cool, and watch the coastline roll by. It’s your day, your way, whether you’re here to chill or splash around.

Key attractions
  • Cap de Creus The real star of this cadaques boat tour is getting up close to Cap de Creus, the easternmost point of Spain’s mainland. It’s a wild, rocky peninsula that juts out into the Mediterranean, full of jagged cliffs and little bays you can’t reach by foot.
  • View On DeckThe boat lets you see it all from the water, and there’s something cool about spotting this far-off corner of the country while munching on your picnic. Plus, if you’re into art, you’ll love knowing this is the same place that inspired Salvador Dalí, he lived nearby and drew ideas from these very shores.
  • Experienced SkipperThis excursion cadaques cap de creus takes you along a stretch of coast that’s wild, with rocky cliffs and hidden coves that make you feel like you’ve stumbled into a secret world. If you’re wondering about cadaques rent a boat, this is it, a hassle-free rental with a local captain who knows these waters like the back of his hand. No need to steer; just sit back and let him show you the best spots.

Itinerary

2:00 PMArrival

Your boat tour Cadaques begins at Port Lligat, where you’ll meet your captain and climb aboard. You’ll cruise out from Port Lligat, a quiet harbor where Dalí’s old house still sits, and head toward Cap de Creus. From there, it’s a gentle ride out to Cap de Creus, passing rocky shores and quiet coves along the way.

Get into the water

About halfway through, the boat drops anchor in a calm spot, maybe a little bay where you can swim or paddle. That’s when the picnic comes out, and you’ll have time to eat, splash around, or just soak up the sun.

Amazing Coastal Views

After a couple of hours exploring the peninsula, you’ll head back toward Cadaques, getting a nice view of the town’s whitewashed houses from the water.

6:00 PMReturn

The whole trip takes around 4-5 hours, leaving you with the afternoon free to wander the town or nap off that sea air. It’s a solid half-day adventure that feels full without wearing you out.
